Let’s Talk About Kids’ Feelings

A Warm Welcome:

Hello, friends! I’m Dr Meherdad, your child specialist in Dhaka, I’ve been a doctor for kids for 10 years. I love helping children stay happy and healthy. Today, I want to talk about something super important – kids’ feelings!

Kid’s Feelings are Big!

Kids all over the world sometimes feel sad or scared. Lots of kids feel this way. It’s okay to have these feelings. We need to help them feel better!

Feelings Can Stay with You

When kids feel bad, it can stick with them as they grow up. If a kid is always worried or can’t play well with friends, it can make growing up harder. We need to help them early, so they grow up happy!

How to Help Kids with Feelings

Here are some fun ways to help:

Make Friends: Help your child make friends. Play dates are fun! Talking to family is good too.

Help Others: Kids feel great when they help! They can help at home or with friends.

Keep a Routine: Doing things at the same time every day makes kids feel safe. Like bedtime stories or playtime after school.

Talk About Feelings: It’s good to talk about feelings. Ask your child how they feel today. Listen to them. It helps a lot!

Look for Signs

Sometimes kids show us they’re feeling bad. They might be very sad or very angry. They might not want to play or talk. If you see this, it’s okay to ask for help from a doctor like me!

We Can Do More

Not all kids get the help they need. We can change that! Let’s talk more about feelings and help kids who feel sad or scared.

Remember

I know growing up can be hard. I grew up in a place where we didn’t talk much about feelings. But I learned that talking helps. I love being a doctor for kids. I learn from them every day. And I want to help every child feel happy and healthy!

End

The kids are amazing! They teach us so much. Let’s help them grow up happy and strong, full of love and laughter. Together, we can make a big difference!
